电脑动画节(CAF) 是SIGGRAPH Asia盛会最受瞩目的环节之一。2020年12月15日,SIGGRAPH Asia 2020虚拟线上会议正式宣布了电脑动画节的三部获奖短片:最佳作品奖《Shoom’s Odyssey》、最佳学生作品奖《Migrants》、评审团特别奖《Box Assassin》。此次评选,共收到了577个CG动画项目,通过51名初选评2委的评审,初选出139个作品,再由行业顶尖的专业人士组成国际评审团评选出3个CAF获奖作品,同时为CAF电子剧场以及动画剧场分别评选出22个最佳作品。SIGGRAPH Asia 2020电脑动画节主席Dan Sarto表示:“我们的CAF获奖者、电子剧场和动画剧场的展映,展示了来自世界各地的艺术家们才华横溢的作品。我们的评审团也帮助我们组织了一系列超棒的动画项目,包括47部动画短片、视效片、商业广告、科学视效和其他作品,在CAF期间在网上展示。祝贺所有获奖者,也祝贺所有抽出时间与我们分享作品的人。”下面,Renderbus云和大家分享下SIGGRAPH Asia 2020的获奖短片及一些精彩的幕后故事吧~ SIGGRAPH Asia 最佳作品奖(BEST IN SHOW):《Shooom’s Odyssey》导演:Julien Bisaro监制:Claire Paoletti制作公司:Picolo Pictures国家:法国这部26分钟的动画短片还曾获得2020年法国安纳西(Annecy)最佳电视动画的水晶奖,短片讲述了一只叫做Shooom的小猫头鹰的故事。Shooom刚从窝里掉了下来,这只小雏鸟就蹒跚着进入红树林,推着孵卵中的第二颗蛋一起走了。无论如何,她决心要找到一个妈妈......即使那个妈妈是鳄鱼或浣熊!这部影片采用了2D数字技术,把观众带到小猫头鹰的视角,体会它眼里的“大世界”。尽管它看起来是为4—7岁的儿童设计的,但是在短片《Shooom’s Odyssey》中没有说教和迎合的内容,场景充满着活力,有迷人的色调。影片没有对白,它利用对场景的描绘不断地引人入胜。角色、场景以一种柔和的水彩为风格,将观众吸引到故事中,赋予电影更多“艺术”的感觉。 最佳学生作品奖(BEST STUDENT PROJECT):《Migrants》导演:Hugo Caby, Antoine Dupriez, Aubin Kubiak, Lucas Lermytte, and Zoé Devise监制:Carlos De Carvalho学校:Pôle 3D国家:法国发行:Je Regarde短片讲述了由于气候变暖,两只北极熊无奈离开原本的栖息地。他们在寻找新家园的旅途中遇到了棕熊,并努力去适应这里的生活。这部影片特别之处在于,影片中的动画角色和场景道具,看起来很像手工设计的,有定格动画的风格,但其实整部影片都是通过CG完成的。本片同时获得第十一届中国国际新媒体短片节最佳动画短片奖。 评审团特别奖(JURY SPECIAL):《Box Assassin》监制/导演:Jeremy Schaefer学校:Ringling College of Art & Design(瑞格林艺术与设计学院)国家:美国克雷格是一个送披萨的男孩,他回忆起一个晚上,他给一个冷酷的黑帮老大和他的打手送外卖。可谁知,克雷格送来的不是披萨,而是传说中的盒子杀手!刺客出现了,在歹徒中制造混乱。克雷格试图逃跑,但被黑帮老大劫持为人质。在一个冷血的歹徒的摆布下,克雷格担心这可能是他的末日。《Box Assassin》这部作品前期制作始于2019年4月底,并于2020年5月底完成制作。导演Schaefer在制作中主要使用的软件是Maya。在Maya中完成了场景/道具建模,绑定,贴图与材质,Layout,动画和灯光。所有的角色是用ZBrush雕刻的,在Substance Painter中制作了一些贴图,但导演也喜欢在 Photoshop 中绘制贴图。短片用Arnold渲染,用Nuke合成,所有内容都是在Adobe Premiere中编辑的,最后,用AE创建了结尾字幕。本文《整理发布,如需转载,请注明出处及链接:相关阅读推荐:

But inspiration is a magical tonic that powers us through times of frustration and helps us produce our most incredible work.For this year's rendering challenge, we're asking you to depict your source of inspiration. It could be a quiet place in the city or country where you can take a step back from your work, a person or muse who helps you through rough patches or something more abstract, such as your spirit animal.
